....when I stop playing with these promarkers! All these years of crafting and I never went there....ever! Now I'm all cutsie!! So not me! But a change is as good as a holiday so I'll get it out of my system and then go back to my normal style- whatever that is! Keep your eyes on IACW-we will be back at the end of March with an Easter relaunch and regular post again!

I made something!

A quick card for my sister in laws birthday. I've made a few others, which are so not my usual style. All cutesie and coloured in but I'm enjoying doing something that's not my style at all. a change is as good as a holiday!! As I mentioned in my previous post, It's a creative world is coming back online. We've all missed doing the blog and a question on the UKS homepage prompted us to make a  decision on the way forward. So we'll be back by Easter and we would like some extra design team members. If you are interested pop along to IACW and read on!

The Wide Eyed Owl

So I made one a few years ago and she asked me to make a second- in the chaos that is my home it never found its way back to her. Hang my head in shame. Despite endless and numerous hunts i never located it.It's probably in the depths of my loft/attic!So when she mentioned a few weeks ago I thoought I need to do something So I made a new and improved one- you like? TFLX

Happy New Me?

I keep popping along here and not posting. I think I've had crafting block as I'm barely scraping cards together for family, although I did manage for my niece Sam and will have to for Emma's 7th on Sunday!

I think the increase in my hours at work has totally stuffed any crafty thoughts but I'm starting to get frustrated and bored now so things must change. I have a beautiful craft room now and am not using it!! Naughty. I do wonder at times why 've kept the blog going- two months since my last post. Anyone still here?? You do surprise me if yes! Thank you! I like the fact I can ramble on here -although I'm in no way in the limelight- I'll keep plodding away and see if I can find myself a bit more company as I do enjoy that side of cyber space and it's bit quiet these days. Please do pop back-I'm going to try hard now! xx 

Almost time for an Advent Treasure Hunt!

Thought I would share a Christmas creation! And dare I say....it's genius!It started out looking like this....

and  with a bit of ink, spray enamel, embossing powder and a heat gun it started to look like this.....

I used Fancy pants paper, buff card and buttons, Karen Foster stickers and bling to pretty it up. Then I tamped and rubbed on numbers. Then the tricky bit....turning it into a treasure hunt. My kids love treasure hunts!! Any excuse! So this is the genius part....clues on the back....so they have to find their advent treat! Instead of instant gratification the troops will have to hunt for it!! Fun! :-) Hee hee!

Shame on me!

I can't believe how long it is since I blogged!Time flies when you are working, trying to decorate etc etc. Almost no time to craft recently which is shameful considering I now have a working craft room- which I still
need to photograph! This is a card I made last week-so I haven't been completely out the loop. I had a busy day though and spent time on my treasure hunt advent calendar! Pics to follow soon! Thanks for dropping by if you still are! L x
